Using the 8-Coil Shakti Over the Parietal Lobes

This animation shows how the signals can alternate and still remain within the "Parietal Strip".

Note that the parietal lobes are about an inch behind the topmost point on the head.

Using a Baseball cap to apply the coils to the parietal lobes. (Side View)

The Parietal lobes mediate body awareness and control. Sessions done over the parietal lobes are more likely to bring out body - related phenomena.

Intense tingly sensations have been reported with this presentation, as well as sensations of movement, and even out-of-body experiences, though these are not common at all.

The amygdaloid signal and the caudate nuclear signal are the most likely to elicit an experience when applied over the parietal lobes.

Sessions on the right side only are not suggested with the amygdala signal.

Do not use the amygdaloid signal over the right parietal lobe.

Do not use the hippocampal signal over the left parietal lobe.

Sessions over both sides (as shown) are less likely to elicit unpleasant experiences.

If you want to stimulate only one of the parietal lobes, begin by using only two coils with non-alternating signals.

One report of a negative effect followed changing back and forth between two different signals with each session over the parietal lobe. The report is confounded by the many other mind-altering techniques used by the person, but it inspires the suggestion not to experiment with non-standard designs for series of sessions over the parietal lobes.
