SHAKTI HELMET

SETTING THE VOLUME

Shakti does not diagnose or treat medical disorders.

TO USE THE SHAKTI HELMET, YOU MUST HAVE A "Dr. Gauss" Gaussmeter. Information on how to order one on-line is at the bottom of the page.

What's a gaussmeter? It's a device that lets you measure the strength of a magnetic field. You have to make sure that the signals coming from Shakti aren't too weak or too strong.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME (FIELD STRENGTH)

Shakti helmets, in most cases will have one wave form on the right and one on the left. The signal on the left is the one that has the most 'tones' in it. To get a correct enough signal, you have to adjust the volume so that the signal on the left sounds like its 'jumping' up and down. The signal on the right doesn't have as many 'tones', so we don't use it for testing volume. It's provided here so you can listen to the sounds each channel is supposed to have.

When you use a "Dr. Gauss" gaussmeter to listen to the magnetic fields coming out of your headset, you should have a sounds like the ones on this page.

BOTH sides have a brief (less than one second) signal followed by four (4) seconds of silence. The sound clips here include a silent section.

Here is a helmet being checked for volume using the Dr. Gauss.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE THE
