SETTING THE VOLUME
|
|
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME (FIELD STRENGTH) Shakti helmets, in most cases will have one wave form on the right and one on the left. The signal on the left is the one that has the most 'tones' in it. To get a correct enough signal, you have to adjust the volume so that the signal on the left sounds like its 'jumping' up and down. The signal on the right doesn't have as many 'tones', so we don't use it for testing volume. It's provided here so you can listen to the sounds each channel is supposed to have. When you use a "Dr. Gauss" gaussmeter to listen to the magnetic fields coming out of your headset, you should have a sounds like the ones on this page. BOTH sides have a brief (less than one second) signal followed by four (4) seconds of silence. The sound clips here include a silent section. |
